Taktstock Co. Ltd., appointed as distributor for Japan

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Taktstock Co. Ltd., as our new distributor in Japan. We have been very impressed with the passion for music and understanding of our products shown by their president, Mr. Goro Iori. When we asked what drew him to German Physiks he told us:

"About 20 years ago, Mr. Okihiko Sugano, then one of the most respected audio reviewers in Japan, installed a set of German Physiks loudspeakers in his home. These featured their famous DDD driver. As a young man in my mid-twenties, I remember visiting his home and him excitedly telling me how wonderful he thought the DDD driver was. The sound was indeed wonderful. I greatly respected him and thought it was a wonderful life to be able to immerse oneself in music that way. Sadly Mr. Sugano is no longer with us, but he remains a very respected figure in the Japanese audio world.

“FinImagine my surprised when I was recently contacted by German Physiks, who asked whether I would like to be their distributor. I thought this is fate. A pair of their HRS-130 loudspeakers duly arrived. The sound was even more impressive than I remembered and I gladly replied that I would be their distributor. I will do my best to convey the excellence of German Physiks loudspeakers to Japanese audiophiles. Mr. Sugano introduced me to German Physiks and I think he would be pleased that now I have become their distributor.”
